"I've been an artist my whole life. While tattooing has always been a huge interest to me, it wasn’t until after I completed a Bachelor of Education and worked within the education field for a few years before I decided to quit my job to focus on my real passion: tattooing. I got my tattoo apprenticeship in 2012 and has been tattooing ever since.
My art education is more formal as I has been taking art classes since junior high to university. I prefer resemblance portraits and realism artwork which has transferred to my preferences in tattooing styles. My love is black and grey tattooing with a focus on realism, stylized realism, or illustrative. Subject matters with room for interpretation are my favorite, such as Greek, Nordic, religious Gods/Goddesses, flowers, animals, beautiful women, resemblance portraits, any realism subject matter and themes from books or movies. I do not shy away from moodier subjects or masculine or feminine focused designs.
Art has been a natural part of my life. Being able to transfer that ability to tattoos and meeting new interesting people everyday fits my personality perfectly. I feel incredibly lucky I have been able to turn my passion into a career." -Sarah.
